Rhys Holbrook is a Sydney-based music producer and songwriter who can provide your projects with an unique audio-based flair that will immerse viewers and get them talking about your products or experiences.

Rhys has been constantly creating music for over ten years.

Having started creating music on GarageBand on his family computer in high school, Rhys has transitioned from crafting instrumental pieces to becoming an multi-instrumentalist, creating a multitude of tracks with vocals and all kinds of different layers. Guitars, bass, drums or synths, he makes use of everything at his disposal to produce unique songs that blend different genres together.

Rhys has graduated from JMC Academy in Sydney with a bachelors’ degree in audio engineering and sound production. Writing, mixing and mastering is all done within his studio.

Collaborations are key to his work. Rhys has worked alongside with US-based mixer/engineer Jeffro Lackscheide, and Sydney-based mixer Charlie Birch. He has also co-written tracks with artists and groups like Bad Field Trip, GEM and This Talk of Rain.

Since 2018, he has recorded music under the artist name Occasional Spectators, releasing two albums and a myriad of singles. Rhys’ work has been featured in music outlets like Happy Mag, AAA Backstage and Triple J Unearthed.
